Our chapter proudly honored the legacy of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., by participating in several impactful events throughout January. From fellowship to community engagement, we enthusiastically and dedicatedly embraced the spirit of our founders.

The celebrations began with the Sigma Metro Atlanta Mixer, where brothers from across the area gathered to strengthen bonds and network in a spirit of unity. This event provided an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and reflect on the fraternity’s rich history while looking toward the future.

We continued our observance with the Sigma Zeta Founders Day Celebration. This inspiring occasion brought together Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta members to celebrate our shared history and commitment to service. This gathering reminded us of our organizations’ enduring impact and the importance of collaboration in making a difference in our community.

We are excited to share that our partnership with the Upsilon Iota Sigma chapter for the MLK Day event at New Manchester High School in Douglasville, GA, was a resounding success! On January 20, 2025, we came together to inspire and educate students about various career paths and the importance of community engagement.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event impactful. Together, we are fostering a spirit of community and encouraging the next generation to pursue their dreams. Let us continue this momentum, and we look forward to more collaborative efforts in the future!

The brothers of Lambda Sigma proudly volunteered at the 2025 Hot Chocolate Run in Atlanta! At this annual event Instead of running, our brothers dedicated their time to support participants by handing out water, marshmallows, and plenty of motivation along the course. It was a rewarding experience to cheer on the runners and contribute to the high-energy vibe of the day. We were thrilled to represent Phi Beta Sigma alongside our collegiate chapters!!

Black History Month

The brothers of the Lambda Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. attended Friendship Baptist Church to support our 28th International President, Brother William E Stanley Jr, as he spoke on the Divine Nine during the Black History Month.

The chapter supported the Black Health Matters Winter 2025 Summit & Expo on Saturday, Feb 22nd, at the Loudermilk Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The health summit & expo offered complimentary breakfast, lunch, health screenings, 15-minute low-impact demo workouts, informative panel discussions, and presentations. This meaningful event promoted health equity, education, and healthcare access for underserved communities. Fun Fact: The founder & CEO of Black Health Matters, Rosyln Young Daniels, is a Zeta.

Joint Day at the Capitol

Lambda Sigma Brothers were well-represented as we met with lawmakers and received Joint proclamations.

The Brothers of Legendary Lambda Sigma chapter commemorated the March 7, 1965, historic Bloody Sunday by standing strong at the Edmund Pettus Bridge this past weekend.

We will never forget the unwavering commitment, alongside the instrumental leadership and support of Phi Beta Sigma, who helped galvanize this movement that paved the way for the Voting Rights Act and continues to inspire the fight for justice.
